Best paper

On 1 August 2025, Fabian Zehner presented the paper Down the Cascades of Omethi: Hierarchical Automatic Scoring in Large-Scale Assessments at the Workshop on Innovative Use of NLP for Building Educational Applications (BEA 2025) at the ACL conference in Vienna and received the Best Paper Award. Dagstuhl

Daniel Schiffner and Jan Schneider participated in the Dagstuhl Seminar ‘Generative AI in Programming Education’ from 27 July to 1 August. At this meeting of international experts on AI and computer science, various tools and opportunities for innovating teaching and working with AI tools were discussed.

MYSKILLS - Identifying Professional Competencies

The MYSKILLS project with the Bertelsmann Stiftung has been extended for a further two years until the end of 2026. The tests have been used successfully by the educational institutions so far and interest remains high.
