School Internship

Would you like to take part in a school internship which allows you to take a look at the job of a computer scientist or are you thinking about studying computer science at university? Are you also interested in education and psychology? Then an internship at the DIPF at the TBA department is just the right thing for you! On this subsite you will find out what to expect, what you have to take into consideration and how you can apply. While participating in an internship you will learn how the education system functions and how it connects to computer science.

Insight into an internship

An internship at DIPF is varied and you can collect a lot of helpful expieriences and impressions. A part of computer science is for example programming, though you are not expected to be an expert on that already. It is quite the opposite, you are going to learn the basics of programming, if you don't already know these. You are also going to learn how you can expand your skills after the internship. Futhermore, you are going to expierience how computer scientests do their job by observing different people doing their job. This ranges from website maintenance and data backup to evaluating studies on educational psychology. If you are intrested in studying computer science or psychology at a university, this intership offers a great basis to collect expieriences as example through visiting a seminar.

How to apply

To recieve an internship at DIPF you must submit an aplication which expresses your interest. If you get accepted you must submit the neccessairy documents which your school handed out to you beforehand to recieve the confirmation for the internship. Before your internship starts, you will be provided with further information via email. 

Work Environment

Your work colleagues will treat you kindly. If you have questions or are insecure about something, feel free to ask any of them anytime. In conclusion there is a collegial and pleasant atmosphere. You do not need to worry about being qualified enough. With enough openness for the work everyone can be a part of the team!
