Extensive research activities at TBA Centre: valid measurements, measurement efficiency and automatic answer coding, analysis of process data, assessment supporting learning, scientific data management
Research activities at the TBA Centre cover the whole assessment cycle from item development and compilation to measurement instruments as well as delivery, the analysis of the collected data, the use of achieved assessment results as well as storage of assessment instruments and the collected data.
Amongst others, research activities aim at the improvement of validity and efficiency of measurement instruments by using technology, modelling of process data, the instructional use of assessment data as well as research data management. Two research professorships have been integrated into the TBA Centre that mainly work on research questions of educational-psychological assessment and knowledge mining and assessment.
